The World Champion San Francisco Giants announced their 2013 Spring Training schedule Monday.
The Giants will play 37 games in Arizona, two in San Francisco and one in Oakland. The first spring training game takes place at home Saturday, February 23 against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
The Giants began training at Scottsdale Stadium back in 1982 and 2013 will mark the team's 31st year as they begin their quest for a second straight championship. The Giants will host every Cactus League team and also face a semi-finalist team from the World Baseball Classic on Thursday, March 14.
The orange and black will leave Scottsdale on March 27 heading to the Bay Area to take on the Oakland A's from March 28-30.
Single game tickets for games at Scottsdale go on-sale Thursday, January at 10 a.m. PST (11 a.m. MST). Fans can purchase tickets online at sfgiants.com, over the phone at 1-877-4SFGTIX or in person at any Giants Dugout Stores and the box office at AT&T Park. Fans in Phoenix can buy tickets at the Scottsdale Stadium box office and online at tickets.com.
