Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reported Tuesday night the San Francisco Giants have re-signed second baseman Marco Scutaro to a three-year deal worth $20 million.
The 37-year-old was a huge piece to the Giants championship puzzle upon arriving from the Colorado Rockies on July 27 batting .362 in 61 games. Scutaro continued his great play in the postseason winning the National League Championship MVP batting .500 and connected with the game-winning hit in Game 4 of the World Series against the Detroit Tigers.
The Giants kept their top two table setters in Angel Pagan and Scutaro heading into 2013 as they look to capture a third championship in four years.
