Six San Francisco Giants File for Arbitration

Six members of the World Champion San Francisco Giants filed for salary arbitration Tuesday seeking raises for their contributions in 2012.

National League MVP Buster Posey headlines the list looking to cash in after producing two great seasons in 2010 and 2012. Posey made $615,000 last season and look for him to receive a significant financial upgrade. 

The rest of the players include Hunter Pence, Sergio Romo, Jose Mijares, Gregor Blanco and Joaquin Arias. All six players will exchange figures with the club on Friday. 

Pence made $10.4 million, Romo $1.575 million, Mijares $925,000, Blanco $516,000 and Arias made an estimated $500,000 last season.
